Job Description

Looking to build clean, functional websites with a collaborative team?

We’re hiring a WordPress Developer to help craft seamless digital experiences. If you enjoy working with WordPress and have solid development skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress
  • Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design
  • Create websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services
  • Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure that various computers can access content
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
  • Editing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
  • Conducting website performance tests.
  • Troubleshooting content issues.
  • Finding the most appropriate & cost-effective Themes and Plugins.
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
  • Cooperate with the marketing team to match visual design intent
  • Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress website design and development
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience in developing and converting designs into WordPress themes
  • Experience in frontend & backend development
  • Knowledge of SEO, plugins, and web hosting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
